East Lake Market invites you to join us at Garage Cafe on Saturday, March 29 from noon until 3 pm. We encourage everyone to bring a friend and enjoy the afternoon on the patio, as we spread the word about East Lake Market, a program of P.E.E.R., Inc.
Our goal is to find 40 people to contribute $25.00 each. As a token of our appreciation, those who donate $25.00 will receive their choice of our special East Lake Market Southern Sweet Chow Chow Relish or Squash Relish.
Donations support East Lake Market’s weekly Farmers Market (May-October) to make fresh food more accessible and encourage healthy living. Through our local farm connections, we are able to offer the purchase of Fresh Market Baskets to the community. In turn, we are able to provide and deliver Senior Market Baskets to low-income seniors for free and mobilize the East Lake Mobile Market, which brings fresh food to more people, in more places that do not have access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
