Year-round, East Lake Market and P.E.E.R., Inc. work to make sure our community has access to healthy foods.
- P.E.E.R. operates a seasonal farmers market featuring local farmers, local artists and musicians, health booths and cooking demonstrations
- Volunteers deliver 150 boxes of fresh produce free of charge each week of the market to low income seniors.
- We operate a mobile market bus to deliver more food, to more people, in more places, more of the time.
- In partnership with East Lake United Methodist Church, we run a summer feeding program which serves a hot meal to approximately 50 children each day of the summer.
