The East Lake Community Kitchen’s Culinary Training Program is an apprenticeship in commercial food preparation.
Chef-apprentices have hands-on training in making healthy foods. Graduates will be prepared for careers in food production in places like schools, daycares, hospitals, and restaurants..
The program begins in June and runs through September. Students are given a small stipend to help with transportation.
Training is Monday through Friday 8am-3pm. Must be 18 years old or older.
